The other thing to consider when choosing the best USB-C mouse is DPI, which here refers to a mouse's sensitivity. You also get a lighter device, although of course, the trade-off is that you have an extra cable potentially getting in the way on your desk. That said, you will still need to change or charge your battery at some point, whereas if you go for a wired USB-C mouse, you can forget about batteries completely. The latter is almost the norm now, with wireless mice much less bulky than they used to be and they have batteries that can last for months. To choose the best USB-C mouse for you, you'll need to decide whether you want to wired or wireless. But perhaps best of all, unlike USB-A connections, you can plug things in either way up – so it's a small timesaver, but it's wonderful to always be able to plug something in successfully on the first attempt, especially if you're plugging in and out a lot. Data throughput is superb, although admittedly even the most advanced mouse doesn't need a lot of bandwidth.
